Movement
Foundational Needs — Movement
Move to feel good
During fertility treatment, intense exercise can raise cortisol — the opposite of what your body needs. But gentle movement supports circulation, eases anxiety, and helps your nervous system feel safe. The goal is movement that feels good, not like another obligation.
A realistic week
Gentle, not perfect
- 2–3 easy 20-minute walks outside — bonus points for morning light
- 1–2 slow or restorative yoga sessions
- A 5-minute stretch before bed most nights
- Rest days are part of the plan, not a failure
Movement that tends to feel good
Walking · restorative or prenatal yoga · swimming · stretching · tai chi or qi gong · gentle Pilates · dancing in your kitchen. Choose what you actually enjoy — that’s what you’ll return to.
